Welcome to my world!

I’m Zerly, an illustrator and surface pattern designer.

My mission is to help make your space and the accessories within truly feel like an extension of you. Through color, patterns and illustrations, I enhance your surroundings with serenity, good energy, and self-expression. Whether you're looking for wallpaper, bedding, tea towels, journals, or greeting cards, I create pieces that transform your peaceful bedroom, dream kitchen, sunlit porch, or home studio. Let me help you create the visual narrative of you!

As a child, I loved doodling in my notebooks! My little characters became the friends who kept me company wherever I went. Complete with nice clothes, quirky expressions, and uplifting affirmations (“You’re pretty!”, “You’re smart!”), they became my little cheerleaders. My characters gave me a sense of home beyond physical walls and remained a comforting presence throughout my life.

As a school teacher, I animated my classroom bulletin boards with big cut-out characters, bold lettering, and calming colors to cultivate a child-friendly environment. I enjoyed decorating my notebooks, computers, and crafted my own greeting cards for family and friends!

Over the years, I honed my skills in mixed-media and digital art with some fantastic courses, which helped me realize I was in my element as an illustrator and surface pattern designer!

My art style is whimsical and adaptable. I am a chameleon of sorts! While I draw deep inspiration from the natural world, I also love exploring the fantastical. From botanical florals and adorable animals to tasty treats, scenic landscapes, and marvelous fantasy characters, I’m always evolving and excited to see where the creative path takes me.

My hope is to bring a special magic to your everyday surroundings. Thank you for supporting my creative journey. I can’t wait to help you share your story!
